Augusta Drug Testing (ADT) was, founded in 2025 and registered as a small business with Australian Securities & Investments Commission.
The owner Christopher Burlison has undertaken to collect specimens for drugs of abuse Testing (HLTPAT005) before it was decided to form a small locally owned and operated business.
All breath testing is completed in accordance with AS3547:2019 which is the standard for breath testing. The breath analysis device is also calibrated in accordance with this standard as well and a calibration certificate is available to be viewed by the person being tested.
All Oral fluid Testing is carried out in accordance with AS/NZS 4760:2019 and Urine testing is carried out in accordance with AS/NZS 4308:2023. Also universal precautions are also used for each test, comprising of gloves and safety glasses for the person conduction the testing procedure. No two testing devices are EVER used twice.
If a non negative urine test is obtained at the point of collection that sample is packed up with the presence of the donor, sealed and both the donor and the collector sign the chain of custody documents and the sample is taken to a registered laboratory for definitive testing. A report from that laboratory is then sent to Augusta Drug Testing. This report is then sent to the employer.
Augusta Drug Testing simply conducts the testing it is not responsible for company policy. If a donor returns a non-negative result it is at the discretion of the company in accordance with established policy if the donor is suspended until the laboratory results are known, or they may be reassigned until results are known.
